Synopsis
Reinhard von Lohengramm is bored of his administrative duties and branches out to the arts in his free time. Heydrich Lang and Adrian Rubinsky meet and discuss plans to provoke Oskar von Reuenthal into betraying Reinhard. In Fezzan, rumours about an assassination attempt by Reuenthal on Reinhard spread like wildfire. The rumours suggest that Reuenthal will invite Reinhard to Heinessen and assassinate him there. Paul von Oberstein discovers that Lang has been meeting with Rubinsky, but takes no action. Reuenthal decides to test Reinhard's belief in the rumours, and ends up inviting Reinhard as the rumours suggest. Reinhard accepts the invitation to Heinessen. Wolfgang Mittermeyer, Cornelius Lutz, and the other top-ranking admirals discuss the possible outcomes of the invitation and pre-emptively plan their positions.
