Synopsis

Ulrich Kesler, Ernest Mecklinger, and August Samuel Wahlen discuss about the security and happenings of the old Imperial territories. A huge fire breaks out in Heinessenpolis, causing massive property damage and casualties. Through Oskar von Reuenthal's meticulously planned emergency countermeasures, the situation is handled efficiently. Although the fire was caused by an accidental malfunction of a Seffle particle generator, the Patriotic Knight Corps are made scapegoats for the disaster. Reuenthal is relieved of his position as Chief of the High Command and made Governor General of the former Alliance territories instead. In Fezzan, Adrian Rubinsky plans an assassination attempt against Annerose von Grünewald, Reinhard von Lohengramm's sister. On 23 March 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE), admirals Fritz Joseph Bittenfeld and Adalbert von Fahrenheit depart from Heinessen with their fleets ahead of the rest of the Imperial expeditionary force to secure space around Iserlohn Fortress. Meanwhile, Yang Wen-li and his staff are also busy preparing against the imminent Imperial invasion towards Iserlohn.
